Darren found this old Scott Dillon Surfboard under a house about a year ago. Built in the late 1950s it had seen better days.
So we set about to reproduce it in timber and using our new Eco Board building method by vacuum bagging paulownia over a recyclable polystyrene core.
The finished product turned fantastic and as Darren found out, it took a while to get used to it.
There has been a lot of interest in this board as people have seen when they have come to make their own boards at our Workshops.
So if you like the Old School type of surfboards and one with some Australian history about it, come along and make one yourself.
